I’ve been getting a few asks like this so I guess I should just come clean lol… in recent months I’ve been really thinking about the impact tumblr has had on me, especially having a pretty sizable following. It’s been truly a privilege to be able to not just bring a smile to people’s face, but also be a small part in many journeys of self acceptance.

However, I’ve decided to step back from tumblr. I’ve gotten a lot of nasty messages and threats over the years, which definitely sucks but what sucks even more is that you kind of loose your humanity in some people’s eyes around 10k followers. Even if they like you and your content, they won’t treat you as a normal regular person. Taking a step back has helped me to realize the toll of being subjected to these things, so for the time being I think my “break” will continue.

I’m still on Twitter, mutuals: always feel free to ask for my Twitter- especially my x-mutuals cause, as expected, I mostly tweet about the x-men lol

For the time being however I probably won’t be posting as much or as often, I’m still around though, just lurking more than anything else 💖
